K: She drove fast even though she heard Gravel hitting the car.
A: Gravel was mad, you see. And blind too.
K: The mother sighed as she half heartedly told him off.
A: But unfortunately, he was deaf too.
K: The leaves fell on his face but he ignored them.
A: She got out of the car, held him by his left hand, which was his only unparalysed body part
and threw him on the sidewalk but he still smiled his toothless smile as he couldn't feel
anything anyway.
K: She got back in and continued driving, immersing herself again in her thoughts.
A: Wow, this felt good, she thought. Her cold thoughts were soothing in this hot weather.
K: But she felt Gravel hitting the car. Ignorance didn't seem reliable to her.
A: Ignorance had promised her this wouldn't happen again, but it had.
K: The polar bear (The woman driving) grunted. She had to learn to ignore Gravel and adopt
Ignorance. It was the only was out of industrialisation.
[Ask K, for the precise meaning of this.]

AANCHAL (iT'S TIME)
*WICKED LAUGHTER*
K: P, I'm getting bored.
P: Yeah me too
K: Lets write a poem on A
P: Ok
Aanchal Anchal Aanchal
Hume kehti hai Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na dekhne chal
Par usme nahi jhai itna bal
Uski Dadi use khilati hai phal
Nahati hai us saaboon se jiska naam hai 'Nirmal'
Jisse hoti hai tvacha komal komal
Par kya woh hoti hai safal?
Ha, Par keval (sorry, Anki, we used your word) nalke se nikalne mein jal
Then one day, a dog came by
And Aanchal sighed her patented 'sigh'
The dog looked at her, as if asking why
But then Aanchal ran without saying 'bye'
Aur dog bola, Haay! Haay! Haay!
Whatever she says is a complete lie
Like when she claims 'I'm so shy'
She met a cow, who in Hindi is called gaay
Uske terrace par baithkar, karta hai ek kauva 'kaay, kaay'
Aanchal usko aakar kehti hai, "I hate you, FYI"
Aur woh kehta haiu, "Aanchal, you're my(ne), my(ne)"
Par Aanchal kehti hai, "YOu're a pig, go to your sty"
CCD mein jaakar hum khaate hai Clay Pie
Jab humne vaaha se piya paani, we thought we would die
And that was when Aanchal began to cry
We said try to stop, try, try
But as we said earlier, she didn't succeed
She says, "Tuesdays ko I don't have meat."

ODE TO AN IRREPLACEABLE FRIEND
A little something written by a friend before I left Delhi......
Ode To An Irreplaceable Friend
You may or may not know,
But here are the facts:
Whenever you were with us, the place came alive!
All seemed well with the world and life was nice!
Oh! How time flies & I never realised.......
That one day you'll have to go and there's gonna be a goodbye!
Now that you're leaving,
And I don't know when I'll see you again....
Heyy Sistah! I want you to know one thing;
In me you'll always have a friend!
Wish I could rewind
Life and pause time!
So i could relive those days and never let go......
And never let go!
Cause' what comes ahead is incomplete, in vain!
Without you, dear friend, its never gonna be the same!
Mad and mellow, sweet and sour.....
Every moments' priceless, I'll cherish them all
And when years later, if at all
You chance upon this sheet; yellowed, dusty, tucked
In a corner with dog-eared ends!
Do stop by a sec and recall......
Some bygone time, a forgotten friend....
But I can't assure that I won't, can't ever forget!
Whenever you need me, you know where to find me!
Standing and waiting at the crossroad you left.......

SICK
SICK
-Shel Silverstein
"I cannot go to school today,"
Said little Peggy Ann Mckay.
"I have the measles and the mumps,
A gash, a rash and purple bumps.
My mouth is wet, my throat is dry,
I'm going blind in my right eye.
My tonsils are as big as rocks,
I've counted sixteen chicken pox
And there's one more-that's seventeen,
And don't you think my face looks green?
My leg is cut, my eyes are blue-
It might be instamatic flu.
I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,
I'm sure that my left leg is broke-
My hip hurts whem I move my chin,
My belly button's caving in.
My back is wrenched, my ankle's sprained,
My pendix pains each time it rains.
My nose is cold, my toes are numb,
I have a silver in my thumb.
My neck is stiff, voice is weak,
I hardly whisper when I speak.
My tongue is filling up my mouth,
I think my hair is falling out.
My elbow's bent, my spine ain't straight,
My temperature is one-o-eight.
My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,
There is a hole inside my ear.
I have a hangnail and my heart is ---what?
What's that? What's that you say?
You say today is.......Saturday?
G'bye, I'm going out to play!"

I guess it's my turn..
Hi. I don't miss anything, you know? Nor am I nostalgic when we talk of friendship. I am sad, sure for some events that are happening, have happened, whatever, but i'm happy, ecstatic actually, when I hear the word 'friends'.
The fact that we are sad because of what happened and the fact that we are able to cope, to a certain extent at least, proves that our friendship isn't weak. Right?
This logic, keeps me going, keeps me happy, and come to think of it you guys.. why did God do anything like that in the first place? He wanted us to be closer.. wanted us to be better friends, because this world is too full for more enemies, right?
P.S- I know I rock. :)

AND THATS WHAT I MISS.....
All those times.
All those thoughts.
All those laughs.
And all those Aanchal jokes.
All Prerhu's attempts to Aanchal jokes.
All Anki's jokes.
Scratch that.
All of Anki

As I flip through the pages of an old, tattered book with people laughing behind me at my choice, I wonder what made me even pick it up. Not that I'm against Rabindranath Tagore or anything, but who would pick up a book of poetry and plays by him to feel better when your life is not exactly great. Anways, as i looked through the book i found a few one-liners and paragraphs which did seem worth a read.
I hope you enjoy it.
1.) I thought that my voyage had come to its end at the last limit of my power--that the path before me was closed, that provisions were exhausted and the time comes to take shelter in a silent obscurity.
But I find that thy will knows no end in me. And when old words die out on the tongue, new melodies break forth from the heart; and where the old tracks are lost, new country is revealed with its wonders.
2.) I am glad you will not wait for me with that lingering pity in your look. It is only the spell of the night and my farewell words, startled at their own time of despair, which bring these tears to my eyes. But day will dawn; my eyes will dry and my hear; and there will be no time for weeping.
Who says it is hard to forget?
The mercy of death works at life's core, bringing it respite from its own foolish persistence.
The stormy sea is lulled at last in its rocking cradle; the forest fire falls to sleep on its bed of ashes.
You and I shall part, and the cleavage will be hidden under living grass and flowers that laugh in the sun.
3.) The sparrow is sorry for the peacock, at the burden of its tail.
4.) In death the many becomes one; in life the one becomes many. Religion will be one when God is dead.
5.) The dust receives insult and in return offers her flowers.
I hope you enjoy it.

KIKA! KIKA! KIKA!
Kritika! Kritika! Kritika!
She wants to go around with Mika
And have paneer tikka
Which is very feeka-feeka
So Kritika put some namak to make it teekha-teekha
And this they'll do while watching Eena Meena Deeka
Jisse unhone salsa seekha
Tabhi Kika ne maara chance
Jaise jab marta hai saanp, nahi rehta baans
Aur pakadkar kiya uske saath dance
Haddi ke saath maara maans
Phir Mika naraaz hoke gaya France
Nahi thaka Mika karte Kika ko glance
Kyunki abhi bhi usme thi Kika ke pyaar ki aans
Par Kika ne nahi daalo use ghaas
Phir Mika ko lagi Dakshita badi khaas
Dono karte hai ab guftugu karke in class

We are getting very bored (A)
There was girl who petted a toad (P)
She had a pink wardrobe (A)
Along with a long earlobe (P)
She had a special earing shaped like a globe (A)
Okay. Sigh. That's it. Prerna is too sleepy to continue. Gimme few minutes to come up with a good creation, right here, right now.
Hmm. Oops, I meant, Bzzzzz...bzzz..
Did I just wake up?
Or is this still a dream?
While he just replied:
You're stuck in between.
Oh God, what's this?
Clear the air.
It can't be clearer you see
Because of the pollution.
Ok. I just better go away.
P.S- If you guys don't think this is an appropriate 1st post. You can just go ahead and delete it.
